What to expect with EMDR therapy
|
Your therapist will schedule a couple of initial appointments to understand the nature of what is bringing you to therapy and assess whether EMDR may be an appropriate treatment option. The therapist will also take the time to explain what EMDR is and answer your questions before you begin the treatment process. Typically, a session with EMDR lasts 60 to 90 minutes. The number of EMDR sessions you may need will be determined by various factors including your life circumstances and previous trauma. EMDR can be integrated into a process of talk/regular therapy as well.
We are here to help with your journey to heal and reclaim your life. Please call or email (sandra@thrivewinnipeg.com) with questions or to set up your appointment with one of our EMDR therapists. Cost for EMDR treatment is $125 (60 minute session) and $184 (90 minute session) taxes included. |
